What would you describe as your area of expertise?

Facilitation and leadership support.

Which projects are you most proud of (and why)?

I am really proud of the work I have done in reviewing structures for organisations in both New Zealand and the UK. I enjoy working with owners and leaders to identify the most effective ways to manage assets and resources for the best possible delivery of services to their clients.

How would you describe working for Francis Health

Francis Health is a company with a very real public service ethos, and a strong family-style culture. This means that colleagues work closely together across the Group, to share best practice and support each other’s work. We are united around a desire to deliver the best service to clients, and going the extra mile to do so.

What are you currently working on?

I am managing the delivery of performance improvement support to primary care in the UK, on behalf of NHS England. This is a 3-year national programme, and our joint venture subsidiary, SHIL UK, is one of only four delivery partners contracted by NHS England.

What’s been your biggest aha moment?

My biggest ‘aha’ moment was realising how much skill and ability you can unlock in client organisations, by helping them come up with solutions to meet their needs. It’s great to see the light go on as teams realise they can make a difference by using abilities they didn’t know they had.
